Concert T-shirt Refashion Using McCall's 6288

I had a couple of old unwearable t-shirts laying around and decided to try re-purposing them into one wearable shirt. I used McCall's 6288 and am pretty pleased with the results.

Here are the two shirts before. They were both very large, with holes, paint splotches etc. One was from a Tori Amos Concert circa 1994ish. The other was an old one of my husbands that he had give to me for disposal.

The neck band has some stripes on one side as the only piece large enough for the neck band had this design. It wasn't really ideal, but I think it looks okay.

I really like the image on the back, which is from the back of the concert tee. This project has made me aware of all the possibilities for recycling old favorite clothing items and also re-purposing thrift store finds. I also really like the look of this top, and will probably use this pattern many more times.
